Union at a glance

 

The Uthali Union Board and Monohorpur Union Board were dissolved in 1959 as per the instructions of the then government and the name of Uthlai village was changed to Uthali Union. The Uthali Union Parishad was established at Manoharpur in 1984. Mr. Md. Zafar Ali Mia was the first chairman in the general election in 1972. The Union Parishad is bounded by India on the west, Andulbaria Union on the east, Begumpur Union on the north and Jibannagar Municipality on the south. Distance of Union from Jibannagar Upazila is 5 km. Distance from Chuadanga District is 26 km.
